CLASSES BEGIN MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 10TH
Dance is our passion and we want to make the dance experience for you and your dancer wonderful and enjoyable. Many of our policies are listed on our fall brochure. Take some time to read them so that you stay informed. We are here to help! We LOVE questions, please feel free to ask anything you need to know about our programs, your child’s progress, etc. Our front desk staff is available during all teaching hours.
The JAMM website is a great resource for many questions that you may have! The calendar is updated regularly and most of our important dates for the current season are already posted! Newsletters will also be uploaded to the site under the tab Buzz.

BILLING AND CONTACT INFO
All payments are processed on the due dates or the next closest business day. All invoices are emailed for your records. If you have any billing questions, please email Rick at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
New credit card expiration date? Email, cell phone, or address change? Please fill out a payment/change information form. They can be found at the front desk. It is important that we can reach you in the event of an emergency or last minute notices.

SHOES & ATTIRE
Shoes can be ordered at JAMM and take about 2-3 weeks to arrive. If your dancer already has shoes they can be worn for class until they outgrow them. All students must have the correct shoes for the recital (refer to the shoe order form available at the front desk for shoe brands/styles). This helps the performance look professional with all of our dancers looking the same. MAKE SURE TO LABEL ALL YOUR DANCERS SHOES ON THE INSIDE OF THE SHOE.
Shoes can also be purchased at Step-N-Stretch in Burnsville.
Attire for class is listed in the fall brochure. Street clothes and street shoes are not permitted!
Costume fee are due in full on November 15th. Please refer to the class schedules for the number of costumes your dancer will need. Costumes & costume fees are non-returnable and non-refundable.
DYNAMIC DIVISION COSTUMES
$100 EACH INCLUDES TIGHTS AND ACCESSORIES
$175 EACH (AS STATED IN THE COMPETITION HANDBOOK, RHINESTONES WILL BE BILLED SEPARATELY)
We are excited to be holding our annual recital at The Ames Center once again this year!
Recital & Dress Rehearsal dates are June 6-9. Please keep all of these dates open.
$50 PER DANCER
$75 PER FAMILY
Tickets will be $23.00 plus tax
The recital fee helps to cover the cost of dress rehearsal, security, and staff. More information about our recital will be sent out in are April 2019 Newsletter.
Since our student body is made up of several school districts, we are unable to follow one school district calendar. Please see the calendar on the calendar page of the website for the studio’s vacation dates.
Please let us know if your dancer will not be at class. Plan accordingly for vacations and school required events. Regular attendance is crucial for a successful dance education!
Our calendar is always available through our website, but we realize that the format can sometimes be difficult to navigate. Attached is a link to our Google calendar in a monthly view: Google Calendar
At JAMM we feel that it is important for every child to have access to dance. Therefore, we offer optional fundraising to assist in the cost of costumes, shoes and apparel. Information will be going home with your dancer the week of September 10th. Orders are due to the studio on Monday, October 8th .
Pick up is on Wednesday, November 7th, 5:00pm-6:30pm at Erickson Park Located behind Rosemount City Hall at 14115 Brazil Ave, Rosemount.
Many of our dancer’s do not have any out of pocket expense for costumes because of these opportunities. Again, the fundraiser is optional.

DANCER DROP-OFF/DANCER’S LOUNGE
When dropping off younger dancers for class, we ask that parents help their child put their jackets and street shoes away in the hallway. There are hooks throughout the hallway for storage. After things are put away it would be helpful if parents asked their dancer if they need to use the restroom.
Parents can then assist their dancer in putting on their dance shoes. When your dancer is ready you can drop them off in the dancer’s lounge. All classes will meet in the lounge and wait with a JAMM staff member for their class to start. We ask that parents not wait in the room, as it is a small space.

Please put your dancer’s name in ALL of their belongings (shoes, skirts, leotards, bags). If you misplace an item check the lost and found bin located in the hallway.
TOT JAMM BALLET SHOE STRINGS
Ballet Drawstrings- (the small strings at the top of the shoe)
1.Put the slippers on your dancer and adjust the drawstrings so that they fit snug without cutting into the back of the heel.
2. Tie the ends of the drawstrings into a square knot securing it tightly
3. After you are certain the drawstring will not come untied, cut the drawstring ends so that only 1-2″ are left.
4. Take the drawstrings with medical tape to the top inside of the shoe.

*ALL CHOREOGRAPHY SESSIONS ARE MANDATORY. PLEASE PACK SNACKS, LUNCH/DINNER DEPENDING ON THE TIME OF DAY YOU ARE SCHEDULED AND A WATER BOTTLE.

BAND THE APP
COMING SOON FOR THE COMPETITION GROUPS IS THE APP CALLED BAND.
THIS APP IS FOR COMMUNICATION TO ALL PARENTS AS WELL AS DANCERS AND IS A FREE APP TO DOWNLOAD ON YOUR MOBILE DEVICE, IPAD AND DESKTOP. WE WILL NO LONGER BE USING FACEBOOK FOR GROUPS AS MANY OF OUR PARENTS AND DANCERS DO NOT HAVE A SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNT.
JAMM WILL BE POSTING UPDATED NEWS, EVENT INFO., PRACTICE VIDEOS AND MORE.
LOOK FOR AN INVITE EMAIL TO THE APP IN THE NEXT WEEK. IF ANY DANCER WOULD LIKE TO BE ADDED TO THE GROUP, PLEASE EMAIL DANCE@JAMMDANCECO.COM WITH YOUR DANCERS EMAIL AND WE WILL SEND THEM AN INVITE EMAIL TO THE APP AS WELL.
WE WILL BE IMPLEMENTING THIS AS WELL FOR OUR DYNAMIC DIVISION. AN INVITE EMAIL FOR THE DYNAMIC DIVISION WILL BE SENT AT A LATER DATE.
